Cavalieri di Moasca Barolo DOCG is made from the grape variety Nebbiolo.
It is fine and persistent, shiny red with garnet reflections, a complex bouquet, elegant und essential. Earthy, full bodied, soft tannins with a long finish. In the mouth this red wine is a powerful with a nice balance between acidity and tannins.
The wine is aged for 36 months in oak barrels (30 hl), 6 months in the bottle.
The vineyards are in the area of Serralunga d’Alba – Province of Cuneo – Piedmont.
Food Pairing: Best enjoyed with truffle courses, venison and roasts.
