Fratelli Cabernet Sauvignon, India
This ruby-red Fratelli Sette Cabernet Sauvignon is one of few Cabernet Sauvignon wines produced in India.
Rich in notes of tobacco and plum on the nose, the taste offers unique nuances of black olives, pepper, and dark plum with balanced acidity and soft tannins.
Fratelli means "brothers" in Italian and the winery was established in 2006 by three families from Italy and India, Andrea and Alessio from Italy and Kapil from India. Vine saplings from France and Italy were cultivated in the vineyards of Akluj, Maharashtra, to create the M/S Range of Wines with the help of Piero Masi and Steven Spurrier.
