Hofstatter Pinot Nero Riserva Mazon flourishes in Mazon's hillside vineyards.
A blend is crafted after it is aged in small oak casks for one year, and then further matured in traditional oak barrels for six months, followed by a 12-month maturation in bottle prior to release.
Made from Pinot Noir grapes, it is deep ruby-garnet with a faint hint of undergrowth, small berry fruits, and black cherry. Its palate is warm, balanced, and structured.
