Leeuwin Estate Siblings Margaret River Shiraz 2018 delivers a decent mouthful of delicious black fruit dominant flavours.
Touch of spice and licorice with a little dark chocolate. A more elegant, and fresh style.
Juicy and concentrated nose packed with plums, cherries and forest fruits. Black cardamom, star anise cedar, cinnamom and nutmeg add extra detail and complexity. Soft and supple entry on the palate with blueberries and raspberries at the forefront. Delicate weight through the middle with some savoury notes and quartz like acidity leads a structure chalky finish.

"Intense yet mouth-watering and frisky, the black berry, cherry, currant fruit and tart bilberry fruit s vividly defined and persistent. Smoky, creamy French oak (20% new) smooths the tannins, and hints of anise, eucalyptus and dried sage emerge. Crunchy acidity makes for a sappy finish to this mid-weight, food-friendly Shiraz."

“Delivers a decent mouthful of delicious black fruit dominant flavours. Touch of spice and licorice with a little dark chocolate. Grainy tannins and spices with a fine dusting of oak. It all stacks up so well.”

"Open-fermented, pumped over once fermentation finished, matured in a mix of new and used oak. Fresh, easy drinking style..."
James Halliday, 2021 Halliday Wine Companion
"Brilliant purple. Smoke-accented cherry, blackberry and lavender aromas show good clarity and pick up a spicy quality with air. Lush black and blue fruit flavors show good breadth and are complicated by an allspice nuance. Finishes on a youthfully tannic note, showing good energy and spicy cut."
