Marchesi Di Barolo Barolo Tradizione DOCG starts with selecting the best Nebbiolo grapes. It rests partly in Slavonian oak barrels and partly in barrique, and then completed with a period of refinement in the bottle. It has a broad structure, rich both on the nose and on the palate, vigorous but balanced. Barolo reaches maturity 4 years after being harvested and the peak condition is between 4 and 20 years.
Intense on the nose, characterized by hints of red and black berry fruit, which are enriched by tertiaries such as cinnamon, absinthe and tobacco. The taste is elegant and full-bodied, with enveloping and velvety tannins, and characterized by a finish that returns to the spices.
