Ottella CampoSireso Rosso are made from vineyards situated in the top oenological regions of Alto Mincio's morainic hills. Different grape varieties are harvested from late September to late October, all manually selected. After fermenting and aging in barrels & barriques, 24 months of rest follow prior to bottling.

This wine uses grapes of the highest quality: corvina veronese, merlot and cabernet-Sauvignon.

On the nose, the wine has an intense ruby red hue and garnet highlights announce the aromas of berries, spices & sweet tannins. Soft, balanced & expressive palate, its flavour is perfectly integrated with tannic sweetness.

About the Winery

Ottella: The Intersection of Winemaking and Artistic Expression

Nestled in the picturesque region of Veneto, Ottella stands as a beacon of innovation, seamlessly blending the worlds of winemaking and art. Established in 1905 by the Montresor family, Ottella has evolved over generations, with brothers Michele and Francesco Montresor currently at the helm, infusing their passion for art into every facet of the winery.

The winery itself is a testament to this fusion. Designed with contemporary aesthetics, it houses an impressive collection of modern artworks, creating an immersive experience where visitors can appreciate the synergy between visual art and viticulture. This commitment to artistic integration extends to their labels, architecture, and even the winemaking process, ensuring that each bottle is not just a beverage but a piece of art.

Ottella's vineyards, spanning 90 hectares in the Lugana DOC, benefit from the unique microclimate near Lake Garda. This terroir imparts distinctive characteristics to their wines, particularly the indigenous Turbiana grape. Their innovative approach includes the use of amphorae for fermentation, as seen in their "Back to Silence" wine, highlighting their dedication to both tradition and experimentation.

Through their unwavering commitment to quality and creativity, Ottella has established itself as a pioneer in the realm of artistic winemaking, offering connoisseurs a truly unique and enriching experience.
