Perrier-Jouet Belle Epoque is a true icon – a rare and elegant champagne that celebrates the art of blending in the Perrier-Jouet style.
Perrier-Jouet Belle Epoque is the original Belle Epoque vintage cuvée, first appearing in 1964. Instantly recognisable throughout the world, its bottle is adorned with the graceful spray of Japanese white anemones created for Maison Perrier-Jouet by Art Nouveau master Emile Gallé in 1902.
This 2014-vintage Champagne from Perrier-Jouët has been made with a combination of 50% Chardonnay, 45% Pinot Noir and 5% Pinot Meunier grapes to emphasise the unique character of its vintage.
The color of Perrier-Jouet Belle Epoque 2014 is a luminous pale gold, reminiscent of a rising sun. Delicate fruit aromas of vine peach and poached pear, coupled with linden and hawthorn blossom, are apparent on the nose. On the palate, juicy vine peach offers a fine texture to the sip, complemented by notes of poached pear and rhubarb.
This prestigious cuvée pairs naturally with noble ingredients: king prawns with creamy polenta, sole meunière, Parmesan or Comté cheese.
