Perrier-Jouet Grand Brut is a melting pot of fragrances and flavors - a wonderfully rounded, generous champagne that adds a joyful spark to any moment.
Its heritage dates back to 1846, when Maison Perrier-Jouet introduced historic Cuvée K - the world's first low-dosage brut champagne with a sugar level of less than 5%. At the time, many champagnes had sugar levels up to 40%. Since its high quality grapes only need a small amount of sugar, Maison Perrier-Jouet continues to employ this same philosophy.
The Grand Brut is composed of 40% Pinot Meunier, 40% Pinot Noir and 20% Chardonnay.
This champagne appears silvery-gold in the glass - a vibrant, stylish cuvée with notes of floral scents, vibrant fruit, buttery brioche, and vanilla. It has a crisp, light palate with a wonderfully rich, generous finish.
“I describe Perrier-Jouet Grand Brut as a chameleon cuvee,” says Séverine Frerson, the cellar master of Perrier Jouet. “It has the substance and the personality to adapt to any situation, from an aperitif to a main course of white meat or fish in a creamy sauce.”
