The Ziereisen Viviser Gutedel is a Biodynamic white wine from the Baden region of Germany, made from 100% Chasselas (Gutedel) grapes.
It offers a "serious substance and personality," characterized by its high-elevation, wind-blown, limestone terroir and two years of aging in a large wooden cask.
The wine has a golden-yellow color and a complex nose with savory, nutty mineral notes, reductive flintiness, and hints of quince, red apple, wildflowers, and hay.
The palate is rich and mineral-driven with firm acidity, savory depth, and a structured, saline finish, creating a wine that is both sophisticated and wild.
