Shiraz

Shiraz (known as Syrah in France) is a red grape of dramatic
character — spicy, full-bodied, and deeply satisfying. In Australia, particularly the Barossa Valley and McLaren Vale, Shiraz reaches its most opulent expression: rich dark fruits, pepper, chocolate, and a plushness that's impossible to resist. In France's Rhone Valley, Syrah is more structured and savoury — think olives, smoked meat, and violets. Shiraz pairs beautifully with grilled lamb, barbecued meats, spiced dishes, and hearty stews — an excellent choice for Singapore's bold, flavourful food scene.
