Clos I Terrasses Del Priorat Clos Erasmus is a characterful red that brings together dark berry fruit, savoury spice and a structured, polished finish.

In the cellar, extraction is kept measured for balance, followed by maturation that often includes oak to integrate tannins and add subtle complexity without masking fruit.

The philosophy behind the wine supports environmentally mindful farming practices, prioritising vine health and fruit integrity as the foundation for transparent flavour.

Made by a quality-focused team, the wine reflects a commitment to thoughtful viticulture and measured maturation, with an emphasis on sense of place over heavy-handed winemaking. Behind the label is a hands-on philosophy, where decisions are shaped by the people leading the estate and their long-term vision for the vineyards.

Tasting notes

Intensely deep purple-black core with ruby rim. Monumental and ethereal nose of Mediterranean wild herbs, ripe dark berries, and delicate wild flowers with captivating notes of black cherry, violet, and fine mineral slate. Full-bodied yet remarkably graceful on the palate with extraordinary concentration and fine, abundant tannins. Layers of dark fruit, spice, and slate minerality unfold with breathtaking complexity. The 17 months in French oak are seamlessly integrated, adding depth without masking the terroir. Exceptionally long and persistent finish with haunting elegance and mineral purity.
