Bodegas Elias Mora Gran is a characterful red that brings together ripe fruit concentration, hints of dried herbs and a long, tapering close.

In the cellar, extraction is kept measured for balance, followed by maturation that often includes oak to integrate tannins and add subtle complexity without masking fruit.

The philosophy behind the wine supports environmentally mindful farming practices, prioritising vine health and fruit integrity as the foundation for transparent flavour.

This producer's approach blends regional tradition with modern precision, relying on careful selection and patient cellar work to deliver clarity, balance and personality. Behind the label is a hands-on philosophy, where decisions are shaped by the people leading the estate and their long-term vision for the vineyards.

Tasting notes

Intensely deep purple-black with garnet rim. Profoundly complex nose of ripe blackberry, dark plum, and cassis with layers of cedar, tobacco, and dark chocolate. Hints of violet, leather, and subtle earthy minerality add further dimension. Full-bodied and extraordinarily concentrated on the palate with velvety, finely polished tannins and remarkable depth. The 80-year-old vines deliver an intensity and complexity that is both powerful and elegant. Monumental finish with extraordinary persistence and waves of dark fruit, spice, and mineral character.
