Bodegas Protos '27' is a finely balanced wine shaped by ripe berry concentration, hints of dried herbs and a long, tapering close.

In the cellar, the aim is balance and detail: fermentation is managed for purity, extraction is kept measured, and maturation in oak helps knit tannins while adding subtle complexity.

Vineyard work is guided by a sustainability-first mindset, with attention to soil vitality and long-term stewardship; any organic or biodynamic certifications are reflected in the product details where applicable.

The producer behind this label focuses on site expression and consistency, crafting wines that feel authentic, balanced and quietly distinctive.

Tasting notes

Intense cherry red with violet hues. Elegant and complex nose of ripe black fruit, sweet spices, and fine toasted notes from new French oak ageing. Balanced and generous on the palate with round, silky tannins and flavours of blackberry, dark plum, and cassis intertwined with vanilla and subtle cinnamon. The 16 months in new French barrels add depth and structure without overwhelming the fruit's natural intensity. Long and pleasant finish with lingering spice and dark berry persistence.
