Bodegas Roda Roda I is an expressive release built around a confident core of fruit, subtle savoury complexity and an elegant line of structure.

The wine is vinified with a controlled, site-first approach, then matured to integrate texture and savoury nuance without obscuring the fruit's character. Careful selection and measured maturation are used to balance ripeness with freshness, creating a polished, modern style.

The philosophy behind the wine supports environmentally mindful farming and careful vineyard decisions, aiming for balanced fruit and clear vintage expression.

Driven by craftsmanship and careful selection, the team works to capture a genuine sense of place across each cuvée.

Tasting notes

Deep cherry red with bright ruby highlights. Intense and fine nose revealing layers of ripe blackberry, dark plum, and cassis with elegant notes of vanilla, tobacco, and fresh spice. Full-bodied and concentrated on the palate with a linear core of dark fruit framed by polished, finely tuned tannins. The precision and clarity reflect the Atlantic influence of Rioja Alta. Flavours of dark cherry, minerals, and subtle cedar develop into a long, complex finish with remarkable freshness and depth.
