Château Roubine R de Roubine is a fresh, easy-drinking rosé from one of the few Cru Classé estates of Côtes de Provence, a status it has held since 1955.

The estate near Lorgues dates back to the 14th century, when it belonged to the Knights Templar. Valérie Rousselle has run it since 1994.

The blend is 60% Grenache, 30% Caladoc and 10% Merlot, made in the light, fruity Provence style.

Expect red fruit, Mediterranean herbs and floral notes on the nose. The palate is fresh and balanced, with a hint of minerality.

Serve it well chilled as an aperitif, or with salads, grilled fish and seafood.
