Feudi S. Gregorio Taurasi Riserva is from the single vineyard of the same name that is symbolic of Feudi di San Gregorio, where the 70-80 year old vines are 1200 ft above sea level with a southern exposure. Ageing of 18-24 months in French barriques and 50 hl barrel of medium toast and minimum 24 months in bottle.
Menthol, tobacco, blackberry and dark, exotic spice aromas slowly take shape. On the firmly structured palate, tense, fine-grained tannins support black cherry, liquorice and clove.
