Les Éclats de Branas is the second wine of Château Branas Grand Poujeaux, a 17-hectare estate on the Grand Poujeaux plateau in Moulis-en-Médoc, between Margaux, Saint-Julien and Pauillac.

The vines grow on Garonne gravels over limestone. Since 2012 the estate has worked with consultant Hubert de Boüard of Château Angélus.

This 2022 is a blend of 50% Merlot and 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, made to be enjoyed young.

Expect a fruity, crunchy and charming wine, with the roundness of Merlot and the structure of Cabernet Sauvignon.

Enjoy it with red meats, roast lamb, slow-cooked dishes and aged cheeses.
