Mt Difficulty Bannockburn Sauvignon Blanc is an expressive white built around Sauvignon Blanc character, with vibrant acidity, pure fruit clarity and a gently mouthwatering finish.

Winemaking is geared toward freshness: cool, temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel helps preserve aromatic lift, with a short period on fine lees to add texture and length.

Sustainability is approached through responsible vineyard work and thoughtful sourcing, aiming for healthier soils and balanced fruit so the wine can be made with minimal corrective intervention.

The winery behind this wine is driven by craftsmanship and detail, focusing on translating vineyard character into a style that feels authentic, polished and consistent. Behind the label is a hands-on philosophy, where decisions are shaped by the people leading the estate and their long-term vision for the vineyards.

Tasting notes

Pale straw yellow with green highlights. Refined and complex nose of lemongrass, gooseberry, and wet stone with elegant citrus zest and subtle herbal undertones. Concentrated and structured on the palate with intense citrus and gooseberry flavours transitioning into a linear mid-palate. Additional herbal notes and a distinctive wet stone minerality develop on the finish. The Bannockburn terroir delivers greater depth and complexity than the Roaring Meg tier. Lengthy and precise finish with lingering mineral freshness and citrus purity.
