Tasting notes

Deep golden colour with rich amber highlights. Profound nose of baked apple, candied orange peel, and acacia honey with complex notes of vanilla, toasted oak, and smoky flint. The palate is full-bodied and opulent, with layers of dried apricot, roasted hazelnut, and butterscotch, balanced by a vibrant acidity and deep volcanic minerality. Extraordinarily long, complex finish with notes of caramel, spice, and an almost saline persistence that lingers for minutes.

Serving temperature

Serve at 10-12 °C

Food pairings

Butter-poached lobster with truffle, roasted guinea fowl with wild mushrooms, aged Gruyère fondue, risotto with porcini and Parmesan, pan-seared foie gras with quince compote

Awards & recognition

Rated 98 points by James Suckling - 'A stunning wine of incredible complexity and length from Soave's finest vineyard'
