Wine knows no borders, and Lou Dumont is a testament to that. Founded in 2000 by Koji Nakata, a former sommelier in Japan, and his Korean wife, this winery is a rare example of an outsider mastering the art of Burgundian winemaking. Driven by deep admiration for the region’s wines, Nakata moved to Nuits-Saint-Georges before settling in Gevrey-Chambertin, where he crafts wines that honor both tradition and precision.
